Green tea helps promote good healthy gums

In a study from an American medical journal in March it is reported that green tea can support healthy gums. This is due to its antioxidants such as catechins. The level of catechins develop over time and thus the spring tea has less than the late harvest teas. Interesting to note that green tea is unfermented and less processed than black teas which leaves the antioxdants more intact to fight free radicals in the body.
