The Health Benefits of Coconut

You know we love Matcha, but here at Libre we also love coconut! Especially Coconut Matcha Latte when it’s made in one our Libre Tea glasses. We’d like to share with you one of our favourite recipes and our morning inspiration at our home office – our 150 sq. ft. of bliss in Gibsons, BC, Canada 

Wendy’s Coconut Matcha Latte

Step 1: place 1 tsp of matcha on top of the filter, sieve matcha through the Libre tea filter screen

Step 2: place 2 tsp of coconut milk powder in your Libre ,

Step 3: pour in desired amount of hot water – then turn on its side and hold and shake like a maraca – back and forth, side to side – it will be a fun minute and your beverage with smooth, creamy – watch that all matcha is blended

Drink and enjoy and a healthy perk-up treat mid-afternoon or morning

Last week we talked about Matcha tea and that is a powerhouse of good healthy benefits and now we add another healthy ingredient – Coconut  – its one of nature’s healthiest foods! There are many published studies in medical journals showing that coconut, in one form or another, may provide a wide range of health benefits.

Here are a few of its many health benefits:

  • Helps to protect against osteoporosis and Improves calcium and magnesium absorption
  • Reduces inflammation
  • Boosts energy and endurance
  • Helps relieve diabetes symptoms  by safely helping to regulate blood glucose levels and protect against insulin resistance
